Peer review of Bluetooth Beacons
[edit]The article is off to a good start. I can see how the original iBeacon article has been expanded to include all types of Bluetooth beacon devices. I think that the section on Technical details could be made a little easier to understand by either adding links to the technical terms or explaining them. I also had to look up what "spoofing" was after reading.

Peer Review 2
[edit]- Sources - kind of a mixed bag. It looks like there are a good number of scholarly sources here, but also some questionable ones (stack overflow, random websites - these have a good chance of disappearing).
- Intro readability grade level - 15.3
- Once sentence sections - these should be expanded or consolidated
- Citations look good
- Try to generalize the iBeacon portions to beacons in general
- Watch out for grammar errors ("Bluetooth beacons uses")
- "Uses" and "Functions" mean the same thing to me. These should be consolidated or the sections should be made more specific.
- Lots of links to other articles (good)
Possible linking articles
- iBeacon
- Bluetooth
- Kontakt
- Facebook Bluetooth beacons
- Beacon

Feedback
[edit]Really nice work on your Bluetooth low energy beacons article. One thing though - I noticed that there are significant parts of the article that lack supporting citations - for example, the History and development section lacks references beyond the second sentence, and the final paragraph of the Comparable technologies section has none. Every paragraph should, at the very least, end with a citation (assuming that single source supports the entire paragraph. If not, then there should be other sources within the paragraph. If there's text beyond the final citation in a paragraph, there's no way to tell what source its based on. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 03:50, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
Ian do you know how I might add this article to an existing Wikiproject? TeaglesCS (talk) 04:56, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
