== Familiar with the Tetons ==
Looks like you have climbing knowledge of the Teton Range. Checking my userpage under the Mountains section, I have recently created over 20 articles on the major peaks in the range. If you have more information to add to any of these articles or other articles related to Grand Teton National Park, they would be much appreciated. Hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Thanks.--MONGO 19:10, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your kind words. It has been fun so far...Tdsharkey 19:10, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- If you have a climbing guide or something like that, don't hesitate to just list the book name and basically leave a reference on the articles. I can always adjust the cite template and update it since I have all these articles watchlisted. Thanks for the assistance.--MONGO 19:20, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
I hike and climb in the Tetons every summer, so some information is from personal experience. Information on mountains and routes I have not climbed I am getting from Leigh N. Ortenburger and Reynold G. Jackson A Climber's Guide to the Teton Range The Mountaineers, 1996. The book includes first ascent information and is probably the best climbers' guide of the region. It is a worthwhile cite for any entry on the mountains and canyons in the region. I am not as familiar as I should be with the citation conventions here..
- It can be confusing...I'll see about obtaining a copy of that book but if you add a cited ref check out the formatting for Middle Teton for example...or simply add it to a seperate references section as you already did to Mount Moran....that is more than sufficient. Thanks again.--MONGO 20:38, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
