Hi I am inquiring about the blatant advertising which my wiki article contains. Where is it? Let me know so it can be changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by71.98.198.16 (talk) 22:36, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

I have made a few changes. Can you please review and check for a neutral point of view. Also, could you provide suggestions. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by71.98.198.16 (talk) 22:52, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Great. I can no longer see any signs that may lead users to think advertising. I simply reccomend expanding on website statistics, layout, and other plusses that will save it from deletion. I hope this helps and reccomend making an account so it will be easier for editors like myself to review your articles. Keep up the good work, T-95 (talk) 19:38, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Adoption

That sounds pretty cool! Yeah, I try to read all the relevant guidelines before I try something new, but it would be great to have someone experienced help me interpret them. Consider me adopted! --Gardenhoser! (talk) 13:04, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Great!! Im excited to have you. I will be posting lessons in the 'adoption school' section of my user page. (Check the navbar up top)

Thanks, T-95 (talk) 20:16, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Hello

Thanks for your adoption offer. I am currently trying not to edit so much the same articles I am interested in, so mostly just watching those articles. Any help in learning more things is great though, thanks! Red Summer Rain (talk) 16:37, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Cool, I'm glad to have you. Please check for new lessons under the 'adoption school' section of my user page. (Check the navbar).

PAUL STARLING: Article

Please note that you requested speedy deletion for this article which was denied. 16:45, 19 April 2009 WereSpielChequers (talk | contribs) (8,397 bytes) (Decline speedy - notability is established)

Note: Furthermore: See the following guidelines: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Athlete#Athletes Athletes/Shortcuts:WP:ATH /WP:ATHLETE

Additional criteria:

A person is generally notable if they meet any of the following standards. Failure to meet these criteria is not conclusive proof that a subject should not be included; conversely, meeting one or more does not guarantee that a subject should be included. Should a person fail to meet these additional criteria, they may still be notable under Wikipedia:Notability.

   * People who have competed at the fully professional level of a sport, or a competition of equivalent standing
in a non-league sport such as swimming, golf or tennis.[9]
   * People who have competed at the highest amateur level of a sport, usually considered to mean
the Olympic Games or World Championships. The athlete Paul Starling is deemed eligible and notable accordingly.

AfD nomination of List of Furniture in Animal Crossing

An editor has nominated List of Furniture in Animal Crossing, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Furniture in Animal Crossing and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletiontemplate from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Deor (talk) 21:01, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

ARTICLE FOR DELETION NOMINATION

Just expanding on your nomination for Paul Starling deletion and juxtaposing this with your request for feedback on your editing skills.

1. The nomination as non notable is flawed as per criteria See link above for notability criteria Athlete- Representative in World Championships. Your editing skills need assessment as you should have removed your nomination for deletion request accordingly.

2. The term non-notable is offensive especially as the Athlete concerned has obvious notability, as per the article which you do not seem to have given analysis critically. Furthermore you have requested Administrator status however please read this criteria:

    • There are many good ways to advocate keeping, deleting, or even redirecting an article. This includes:

• Arguments commonly used to recommend deletion are: "unverifiable" (violates WP:V), "original research" (violates WP:NOR), and "non-notable" in cases where the subject does not meet their respective notability criteria. (In the cases of non-notable biographical articles, 'it is better to say "does not meet WP:BIO" to avoid insulting the subject.)

3. You have not contributed ANY further discussion on this matter, nor given any further feedback nor evidence as to why you nominated this article in the first place. Not good WIKI pedian policy is it?
