Thank you Fabian Tompsett (WMUK)!--Tanzi22 (talk) 21:35, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmmm.....User:Fabian Tompsett I have added some citations but the list appears below the Medals section rather than References- can I change that? --Tanzi22 (talk) 05:56, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I was bold and changed it! (hope that's OK) There was <references /> hidden in the code in the middle of the references. I also added {{reflist}} under references, which I think got left out. (See code for this post to for nowiki). Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 11:34, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good to see the article in mainspace - complete with photo!Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 11:02, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

YES! Thanks again to User:MatthewVanitas and User:Fabian Tompsett. Who added the photo & how was it sourced? I tried adding one of mine but they were in the wrong format. I'm looking forward to the edit-o-thon next week to ask more questions & learn more skills!

OK, to see who added the photo, click on the photo and you should find the answers to your questions. The image came from https://biguglyfishrecordings.wordpress.com/tag/joseph-hodgson/, who in turn refer to a url where his medal was put up for sale in 2008: http://www.dnw.co.uk/auction-archive/catalogue-archive/lot.php?department=Medals&lot_id=64016 (the medal sold for £900). On a different tack, I am organising a Volunteer Strategy Gathering for Wikimedia UK on Saturday 28th February. If you are up for giving up a Saturday to join us, that would be great. The event is in Birmingham and we would pay for travel, with free refreshments available on the day. We are really keen to have some input from new editors as someone giving things a fresh look can be amazingly beneficial. You can register here. If you would like to find out more before committing yourself, please drop me an e-mail (fabian.tompsett(at)wikimedia.org.uk). Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 11:50, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
