Hunter collective IP address

I (one of the many users of this collective address) strongly suggest that you do in fact permaban this account, or at least impose some sort of restriction: the computer is open to over 1,000 students, some of them only in junior high, and the vandalism is unlikely to cease.--146.95.224.80 15:52, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

RFA script

I saw the duplicate voters and I thought it was checking for socks, but I looked it the code and it appears to just check for duplicate names. It appears to run from http://tools.wikimedia.de/~tangotango/rfa.php so it should have some PHP code to access the SQL database, run a checkuser, and then compute checks for any voters that used identical IPs in the last week. Doing this may also require checking through the article history to match names as some people have messed up signatures that don't give their usernames or else don't link to their userpage but elsewhere. Basically you (1) Get everyone's names. (2) Go into the database of the English wiki portal. (3) Get a query from the recentchanges table and do a query that filters by name as well as queries for anything with a time/date stamp under a week old (probably current time/date - 7 days). (4) then you gather the up into an array and do that for each person. (5) Then compare IPs to each other, (6) Poof instant IP check and if it's done all with scripts and the script doesn't have code saving it to a file then it's a checkuser that's kind of like when you pay for a product online with your credit card and it's encrypted so only machines see the data so there's no humans spilling the IPs. Maybe you should make it into a mediawiki extention that can check any and all voting pages? SakotGrimshine 07:32, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

How to redirect articles together ??

Hi, I would like to know, how can I create many articles that will all redirect to the same content. I created an article called "Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka SSE", and what I would like is that for example if someone is looking for "The Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone" that they can find it under "Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka SSE" but I don't know how to redirect an article to just one title. For the moment I have copied the content of one article into the other one, but this is a waste of time, because it creates many identical articles, and this is not my purpose. Please help me !! Are Not User Pages the First Source for Conflict Resolution

Apparently when anyone has a dispute over the neutrality of an article, as I had with the treatment of carrots, you immediately label it as vandalism (and revert). Way to encourage differing points of view! In addition, you apparently do not like such issues to be aired in public - as you recently removed my comments from this talk page (c.f. page history). I think we are up to seven now - again I have an opinion about a page that differs from you, so I deserve a ban. No, I think the majority of anonymous edits are constructive. I know what dynamic IP addresses are; I have seen the edits Sir James Paul reverted that were obviously made by you; specifically, the edits to Carrot and Qu'ran. image licensing

hello there, you inserted a →Licensing - orfud on the images: Image:Pinup Girls - Take Me Away techno mix.jpg and Image:Pinup Girls - Take Me Away.jpg. I have put a note describing the fact that it is NOT a cover, it is a picture of the records, quoted the source of the image, and the item is deleted from catalog. how do I go about removing the licensing thing on them please? thanks. Hi Tango, I am currently operating a bot (SpebiBot) whose future task is to update the tally in several RfAs (the box near the header of the RfA, (#/#/#)), which is constantly incorrect and misleading to other users, due to users involving in the discussions forgetting to update the tally. The reason I am contacting you is because TangoBot updates an RfA infobox on WP:BN, and I am curious to know if updating the tallies on individual active RfA pages will become a regular task completed by TangoBot. You warned User:DVdm in his talk; continuing edit-war

We must apologize, we are a German Astronomy-club and have certain problems in (expert's?) perfect English. Because WIKI shows nowhere at least "known solutions" of Einsteins GR since a long, long time, we dared to begin to impose within some days of work, "known solutions" in Solutions of the Einstein field equations compressed (too much) in sections. Of course a WARNING-SIGNAL would be good to help to enhance the sections. But mentioned (known) WIKI-WARRER destroy all done work instead to help and enhance all stubs and insufficiency - HAS NOT ANYONE TO BEGIN TO WRITE KNOWN SOLUTIONS (or does nobody competent know some)? Please stop such things and to enhance WIKI. It would certainly bad if best experts are continuously rv by non-experts and beginners.
