[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Yellow Leaf Hammocks. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! As a new user you may not be familiar with all of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I noticed that you removed a maintenance tag without fixing the underlying problems on Yellow Leaf Hammocks. The "notability" tag was appropriate, as it is unclear whether the company meets WP criteria for inclusion for companies & organizations per WP:NCORP, and WP:GNG. These standards for notability are the way that the quality and integrity of the encyclopedia are maintained. Tags have been removed from other articles as well. Please learn more about what these tags are about before removing them in the future. Maintenance tags are not a "badge of shame", rather they are a heads up to other editors that an article need improving, or another action. Again, welcome and thanks for your contributions. BTW, I too have an interest in fiber art and textiles. Good to meet you here. Netherzone (talk) 15:10, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, and thank you for the feedback! Based on the notability guidelines, I thought that the other articles about the company that were linked as sources were sufficient to meet that bar but I am new and it was borderline. I'll leave the maintenance tag on when it's borderline in the future, and just leave a note on the talk page that the article might now meet the bar with recent edits. I will slightly recalibrate my being-boldness. :) Tangledyarn (talk) 19:27, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
