Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Tang Weibin, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Notes
[edit]Hi! I saw that you created the page Lisa Ede. I did some editing to the page and wanted to explain why:
- I removed the sections about her individual books, as it had issues with tone. Some of the content described the books in fairly positive tones, which runs afoul of Wikipedia's neutrality guidelines. This doesn't mean that it can't be re-added, but it needs to be written more neutrally.
- This needs independent reliable sources, by which I mean things written about Ede by people or organizations that aren't affiliated with her. In other words, sources by Ede, her friends and family, or employers can't establish notability. They can back up basic claims and details, but what we need here are things that can establish notability. I've added some reviews for her books as an example of this. These reviews would also be good sourcing for sections about her books - although it may be better to write a general section about her research fields than specific works, unless those specific works are particularly noteworthy.
- The sections about her education and career should be written in prose rather than list format and need to be sourced in-line. I wrote the education section in prose format as an example, but the career section needs to be written in prose as well.
At the moment this is still live, but we can move this to your userspace if you wish. You aren't required to work on an article while it's live - you can work on this in the draftspace and move it live once you're fully ready. This may be better, since this will also give you more time to edit and try things out without having to worry about it meeting guidelines right away. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:47, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
