advice
[edit]As reviewing administrator, who often works on academic subjects here, I need to apologize for the prior reviewing by editors who do not realize that holding the named professorship is pretty much a guarantee of notability. But I must alert you that it is possible that they will nonetheless challenge the article--there is no way of preventing it. The best way of defending it is to add 3rd party references for the awards, and to indicate the number of citations of the most cited papers. Please see WP:PROF for the relevant standards.
However, there is a more serious problem. A WP article may not be copied from a web site, even the subject's own - it's a copyright violation, although if you own the copyright and are willing to give us permission according to WP:DCM (permission that irrevocably gives everyone in the world the right to copy, reuse, and modify the material) , it is easier to rewrite.)
There are some changes to make. We do not publish CVs--include major awards, but not minor ones like the ones for the best paper in a particular journal in one year or other. On the other hand, we do include all the published books, (normal bibliographic format, including isbns; )--not the articles--in a section called publications. Use any substantial reviews of the books you can find for references. Use a ref for the honorary doctorate. We also want some basic bio: place & date of birth, years for High school and university degrees, title of the thesis, who his advisor was, and if he had any students who have WP articles. And a sentence or two about what his field of research is. . If you need any assistance, please ask me directly on my user talk page. DGG ( talk ) 17:56, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
