How do infoboxes work
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I'm not sure how to put pictures in a infobox. I paste the URL, but nothing happens. I'd appreciate help.
John Doe |
---|
- How to add an image depends on the specific infobox. You'll likely find an explanation at the relevant template page. For example, Template:Infobox person uses this syntax:
{{infobox person|name=John Doe |image=Example.jpg|imagesize=160px|caption=Example}}
- That's the most common method; for corporate logos in Template:Infobox company you'd instead use:
{{infobox company|name=ACME, Inc. |logo=[[File:Example.jpg|160px]]}}
- Note that the image must be uploaded before it can be used; see also WP:COPYRIGHT. Huon (talk) 19:25, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

- How you can help even more!
- (and for which there may or may not be a super secret second extreme helper barnstar)
- Start over fresh with a new account: Like User:OcaasiTWA17 (these are legitimate alternate testing accounts and are not considered sockpuppets)
- Finish the game: Give some attention to missions 5-7 (which have been tested much less)
- Try a different browser: If you used Safari, try Firefox (or Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera...)
- Show the game to a friend or family member to see how they like it and if they get stuck anywhere
