Speedy deletion nomination of Sunbury Cross Shopping Centre
[edit]A tag has been placed on Sunbury Cross Shopping Centre requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Elmsleigh Centre moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Elmsleigh Centre, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The WP:BURDEN is on the person adding text to provide the reference supporting it - not to try and hide behind an unsourced tag - Arjayay (talk) 11:35, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

Staines-upon-Thames
[edit]Hi @Staines Staines:
I've been working on the Staines-upon-Thames article over the past few months and I am thinking about submitting it for WP:GA. From your username, I think that you are familiar with the town and I wondered if you'd be willing to take a look at the article and let me know your thoughts as to how I could improve it before nomination? I have set up a new section on the talk page for interested parties to discuss what additional work is required. I will ask a few others to chip in with their feedback and suggestions.
Thanks and best wishes, Mertbiol (talk) 18:15, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hello
- I have just read through the article and the information is correct and doesn’t require any improvements, although the only the only information that need to be added is that parks in Staines now have outdoor gyms.
- Best wishes on the nomination. Staines Staines (talk) 16:25, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Staines Staines:
- Do you have a reference for the outdoor gyms at the parks please? If so, I would be very happy to add this information to the article.
- I wondered whether you would be willing and able to contribute a few photos to the article? I am not local to Staines and am unlikely to be able to visit again soon. Would you be able to take some pictures of the schools, the sports club grounds and/or perhaps the medical centre at Knowle Green? It would be really great to have a few more photos. Don't worry if this isn't possible for you.
- Thanks and best wishes Mertbiol (talk) 20:09, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hello yes here is the reference here :
- Secondly if you could specify what schools and sports ground you would like pictures of I would be happy to upload these onto Wikimedia commons. Staines Staines (talk) 23:02, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Staines Staines:
- Thanks very much for the link. I will add a note to the article later today.
- It would be really great if you could take some photos - this is very kind of you. I think it would be good to add pictures of some of the following to the article: Knowle Green medical centre, Riverbridge Primary School, Matthew Arnold School, Staines Prep School, Worple Road cricket and hockey pitches/pavillion, Staines boat club boathouse. Also, it would be good to have a more up-to-date photo of the front of the railway station. Hopefully the weather will stay sunny for the next week or so!!
- Thanks and best wishes, Mertbiol (talk) 07:17, 12 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Henley branch line does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button.
