- to LA?
- Are you an administrator?
- What exactly is your concern? You don't appear to be involved with these articles yourself. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:36, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not. I have told my friend that this is bullying and that there has to be people that will take care fo it.
- I'm still not sure what the actual concern is; if you explain the situation, I may be able to help. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:38, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- The situation is that a writer has worked hard on his stuff and that there is some bullying going on. I don't know what the bullying is persay... can't someone look into it?
- Unless you have something more specific, I'm afraid I don't know what I'm looking for. If your concern is about the deletion nomination, that's because an editor is concerned that the article doesn't meet our guidelines for inclusion, that is falls under one of the things Wikipedia doesn't cover, or that it should be deleted for another reason. It's nothing against the editor themselves, but rather a concern that the article doesn't belong here. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:49, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, that's what I was explaining and thank you for clarifying it. Is everything being deleted? Why? Isn't that bullying because that's what I'm trying to help out with. I know I'm not knowledgeable about this stuff but I know a wrong when I see it. My friend knows everything about these movies and even more and he has told me not to bother about it but I'm sure it's a misunderstanding.

- (outdent) The pages that have been nominated for deletion (with those red boxes at the top) will only be deleted if there is a community consensus to do so. As I said, they've been nominated because someone feels as though they don't meet some of our policies; you can read the exact reasoning on the deletion discussion page (which is linked from the red box I mentioned). It's not bullying unless someone's being particularly abusive about it (and from what I've seen, that's not the case here). Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and our content should reflect that. While we will cover a much wider range of topics than a paper encyclopedia, there are still some topics that for whatever reason don't belong here. Someone believes this is one of those topics, and so there is a discussion underway to determine if that is indeed the case. Hersfold (t/a/c) 18:59, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- When will this take place? What if I'm not a part of the encyclopedia community? Why doesn't my friend care anymore? He is saying that it's not worth it and I should just let them do whatever.
- The situation is that there were more paragraphs before. The bullies are deleting these paragraphs because they think they are too much.
- Deletion discussions last for five days. Anyone is welcome to comment in the deletion discussions, however since you are new to Wikipedia, you may want to review some of our policies and guidelines before doing so yourself. They may help to answer some of your other questions as well, although I'm afraid I can't help you with how your friend is feeling. Hersfold (t/a/c) 19:33, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
