Relevancy of a deputay chairman to a company vs a CFO
Since we are starting editwar a little at The Lego Group article, I wanted to discuss my statements you might have not read properly: "<br> shouldn't be"—WP:VLIST strictly goes against that, and I mean, we already have a list, so why not use it? Apart from that, I found the off-lining of the title against the name rather unuseful, and opted to remove the
altogether (rather than replacing). This might be personal bot nothing worth fighting for; should rather be retained as was previously. "person limit is four"—You linked the documentation, so that should also be clear to you: The limit for personnell listed in the infobox is "up to four", so you don't have to limit it to three. "Deputy Chairmen are not key to a company"—We already have a chairman, who surely is important, we don't need someone on the list who is just the right hand of that chairman. You stated that "Deputy Chairman is executive and owner", which is unsourced. Since Lego is a family-run bisuness, Mr. Kirk Kristiansen surely has his stake, but we don't know how large it is. Regarding executive, he is not listed under executive management and has no executive role listed in his profile, so I doubt that he his. Regardless of either, you only pointed out that he is the deputy chairman to readers and did not assert any other notability for him. The final part of that is currently discussed (more or less) on the templates talk page.
Because of the above I propose that we should decide together who should be included and who should not. Nielssen as (principal) chairman and Padda as CEO are definetly the keyest members, and should definelty be there. Furthermore, I think that the CFO and COO value higher than a deputy chairman, but what do you think? Lordtobi (✉) 13:52, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
- Well, the roles of deputy or vice chairmen can vary from company to company. Sometimes the Deputy has a lot of responsibility, sometimes he/she doesn't. The Chairman and CEO are definitely people to include, all others are optional really. COO could be there as well, usually just the Chairman and CEO are listed, though. I suppose we could limit them to just the chairman and CEO.--Tærkast (Discuss) 14:02, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, I guess that is a good solution for now. Lordtobi (✉) 11:19, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
