In response to your feedback

[edit]

There's lots of things that are happening to improve Wikipedia. There are a whole string of "micro design improvements" that'll make things slightly more pleasant to look at. The big thing is the roll out of the visual editor sometime in the next year. There's a lot more coming out soon. But in spite of this, I hope you hang around: the interface be a bit old aging, but it's still lots of fun to write Wikipedia.

Adoption

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, Austinuity! It can be a scary place out there without any help, and so I'm glad that you took notice of our adoption program. I, Brambleberry of RiverClan, would be willing to adopt you and help show you the ropes. Please respond on my talk page if you are interested in adoption. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 22:25, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption classroom

[edit]

As part of the adoption process, I like to provide my adoptees with classrooms where everything gets asked and answered. Your particular classroom is at User:Brambleberry of RiverClan/Adoption/Austinuity. I recommend that you add it to your watchlist.

If you don't know how to add something to your watchlist, it's simple. There should be a hollow star on the same line that the "Read" and "Edit" tabs are. It will either be right after the heart or, if you don't have the heart, right after "View history". If you click that star, it will turn blue and a little notification will come up. Then if you go to "Watchlist" above that, you can see the last edit made. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 22:10, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Getting rid of contents list

[edit]

Re your Teahouse question, if you don't want to show a contents list, put the magic word __NOTOC__ onto the page. See WP:TOC for more information. - David Biddulph (talk) 12:43, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
