Unconstructive edit
[edit]A word like "fictional" in the "plot" section of an article about an anime series (obviously fictional) is unconstructive, so it is reverted assumptive of good faith. Basquash! is the article in question. Riverbend21 (talk) 15:04, 5 September 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:10, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I shall ensure to not use blogs and other websites that do not comply. Tabby578 (talk) 14:57, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
October 2022
[edit]Hello, I'm SailingInABathTub. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Valves have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Commercial blogs (WP:SPONSORED), and sources that are directly copied from Wikipedia (WP:NOTSOURCE) are not acceptable references. SailingInABathTub ~~🛁~~ 18:41, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, thank you for letting me know, I will try and find a better source and read through the guidelines again! Tabby578 (talk) 10:13, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
Please don't put ref titles in all caps
[edit]Like in this edit of yours, the ref title needs to be converted from newspaper headline style to either sentence case or title case. I'll do this one, but if you could do such fixes yourself you won't make as much work for others. Dicklyon (talk) 15:33, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:56, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
