User talk:TV chump
Welcome, TV chump!
I'm Riana, and I noticed that you've been here a while, but no-one's welcomed you yet, so I thought I'd drop you a note. We do have a lot of users, and are currently working on 6,914,736 articles, so things can be a little intimidating... but don't worry! We love to help out, and we'll try our best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.
Here are a few links I found useful when I first arrived here:-
You should sign your name on talk pages, discussions and votes by typing ~~~~
; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date. Also, if you don't want to jump right into editing articles right now, why not check out the sandbox? Feel free to make test edits there.
I know it's a lot of information, but there are two more things I recommend you take note of while editing Wikipedia - cite references wherever possible, and avoid allowing personal biases interfere with your editing.
I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian - I definitely do. Although we all make mistakes, please keep in mind what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or problems, leave me a message on my talk page, and I'll try my best to help. Otherwise, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
We hope you stick around, and make sure you enjoy yourself! Cheers, – riana_dzasta 09:20, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Good afternoon (GMT time); I see you've already been welcomed, so I'll make this one brief: Fàilte - welcome (to Wikipedia)! You might want to check out The Welcome Page which a couple of Wikipedians and myself have recently revamped with blue boxes and pretty links :) I also personally recommend the Adopt-a-User program, where you can get an "adopter" to personally mentor you until you feel you're ready to go it alone!
If you've got any questions, or just want a chat, don't hesitate to contact me at my talk page!
Kindest regards,

Answer on questions on yes programs
[edit]Hi, I don't know if you saw the answer in the talk page under the ip you sent me, because I never answered before on wikipedia. So, if you haven't seen - I write it on your page too. Feel free to read the answer, and delete or not delete it afterwards...
1) No, I don't work for yes, but I like a lot of the shows airs on the yes stars channels (Until now I watched only yesSTARS (the old one), and I think they have great shows, compared to the alternatives.
2) I don't know which season of the Cracker airs now because if I'm not mistaking it was on yes+ and I've never watched it. If yes bought the rights for all the seasons of the Cracker then it is the first season. If not, then it's the first season that they ever aired in the past. For example, Smallville was purchased from season 2, and that's why the syndication began from season 2 and not from season 1.
3) Scrubs did not taken off the air for no reason. I believe that yes will air the season 6 when there will be enough episodes of that season, and it'll probably be in the next season of the yes stars channels. The syndication of season 5 will probably be in the future. I remember from an old answer they once gave, that when they buy a show, they don't buy it for one air only - so everything will be syndicated eventually.
