Unreleased Lana Del Rey music
Please stop replacing the content in this section. No other musical artist has massive sections in their discographies devoted to music that he or she has recorded but not released. None of the songs are notable. None of the content is useful. Just because you can show that the item exists does not mean we need to cover it. The "Unreleased Music" section takes up more than half of the page. Unless you can produce a consensus supporting its inclusion, do not replace the "Unreleased Music" section on Lana Del Rey discography.—Ryulong (竜龙) 02:06, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Stop putting it there. There is no "Unreleased Music" section on any other musician's discography. It's not on Britney Spears discography as you claim in the edit summary. We don't have such a section on Madonna singles discography, Lady Gaga discography, Queen discography, The Beatles discography, etc. There is no reason to have a massive list of songs that should have never been known of in the first place that takes up half of the page. The discography should focus on released music. Anything else is indiscriminate information, even if the information is organized within the fact that Elizabeth Grant wrote or performed them under some alias before she became "Lana Del Rey". Do not replace the content, again. It is not sourced to reliable sources anyway. Contet like this has never existed until you put it there. That seems to be for a good reason.—Ryulong (竜龙) 02:33, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Respond to me. Where is this page of unreleased Britney Spears music? If not, please revert yourself and remove the content from Lana Del Rey discography.—Ryulong (竜龙) 02:40, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
I see my error now. But it does not belong on the discography, which consists of released content. I have moved it to List of unreleased Lana Del Rey songs. I am sorry for my misunderstanding.—Ryulong (竜龙) 02:53, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Using references at AfD discussion for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of unreleased Lana Del Rey songs
Adding in a reference section to AfD discussions tends to jack up the formatting on the primary AfD page which is transcluded [dual-displayed] from the individual discussions. It'd be best if you'd just add these to the article and make reference to them. I don't want to undo it because that would involve monkeying with your comment, but if you would please, add those to the main article and remove the references from the afd discussion. I upped the header level so the effect wasn't as problematic, although it's still slightly messing up things on the main AfD page. Thanks. Shadowjams (talk) 05:46, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
AFDs
Please note that AFDs when closed as no consensus can be revisited at any time to find a new consensus. It is not ridiculous, and enough time has passed to allow new eyes to examine the nature of the page.—Ryulong (琉竜) 09:41, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- It's ridiculous because you're relisting it even though you didn't care to make a debate out of it the first time.--MrIndustry (talk) 09:49, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- My level of involvement in July need not have any bearing on my level of involvement now. Also, I apologize for having edited the page so much such that your response to me now seems to respond to things that are no longer there. I realized I was falling into a bad habit of endlessly arguing with others in the discussion (currently limited to just you) and refactored my comment to remove the combative nature.—Ryulong (琉竜) 09:56, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Rock Me Stable/Young Like Me and Sirens
I would like to add the existence of Rock Me Stable/Young Like Me somewhere in Del Rey's article but I don't know if I should add it to "1986–2010: Early life and career beginnings" or "2011–present: Breakthrough, Born to Die, and Born to Die: Paradise Edition". I think it would fit better into "1986-2010" after "When I got to New York City when I was 18, I started playing in clubs in Brooklyn - I have good friends and devoted fans on the underground scene, but we were playing for each other at that point - and that was it," she revealed." since she must have been 18 when she registered the album. I've also thought about moving the mentioning of Sirens to that section since she would've been 18-20 years old when she recorded it. What do you think? teammathi 11:35, 22 August 2012 (CET)
- No, I think that source is very reliable. teammathi 5:09, 23 August 2012 (CET)
Sources
You don't get it. There is no need for an administrator to intervene because I am removing sources that cannot be used per WP:RS. Bootleg recordings on YouTube, Soundcloud, Vimeo, etc., and fanblogs and fansites are not allowed as sources on the English Wikipedia.—Ryulong (琉竜) 22:22, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Just because an administrator previously edited the article does not make the use of YouTube and other user-created items any more valid as sources.—Ryulong (琉竜) 22:25, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Admin comment on sourcing
You asked for an administrator's opinion on the sourcing, so I'll provide one. The answer is that an administrator's opinion is not needed. Administrator's are not given additional leverage in deciding content issues such as sourcing. Therefore, that an administrator made an edit to the page does not give credence to the sources. Also, there is nothing that indicates the admin even reviewed them. Now, as to the sources themselves, if you give WP:SPS a read, you'll see that user generated content such as YouTube cannot be used as reliable sources except in rare cases such as when the video is from an established expert in a professional field and there are no copyright concerns. In the case of the article you are in a dispute with Ryulong about, the youtube sources do not meet the requirement. Please remove them promptly.--v/r - TP 23:10, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

Del Rey's Soundcloud
Del Rey has her own Soundcloud account: http://soundcloud.com/lana_del_rey/ and has published 23 tracks. Would that be a reliable source? teammathi (talk) 20:17, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Hello, TV, and thank you for your contributions!
An article you worked on Paradise (EP), appears to be directly copied from http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Will-You-Still-Love-Me-lyrics-Lana-Del-Rey/5FE33B5C5D8E635848257A4600084E19. Please take a minute to make sure that the text is freely licensed and properly attributed as a reference, otherwise the article may be deleted.
It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Paradise (EP) if necessary. MadmanBot (talk) 01:18, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
Username change
You can see your SUL report here, and you can do a query for any username. If you're going to get a rename, I suggest a username that has not yet been registered on any wiki, as it otherwise gets messy. Maxim(talk) 01:08, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
Non-free images
When you upload non-free images, you must do so at the absolute smallest size possible such that it is still usable. The cover art for Paradise (EP) and Born to Die Paradise Edition that you uploaded were much too large.—Ryulong (琉竜) 11:19, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:BornToDieParadise.jpeg
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on File:BornToDieParadise.jpeg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:04, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
File:BornToDieParadise.jpeg listed for deletion
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:BornToDieParadise.jpeg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Stefan2 (talk) 13:34, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
- Hey there, friend. Seems you're already aware that the unique cover art for the Paradise Edition was deleted. It seems that it was deleted solely on the grounds of it being "deleted once", which I've seen abused time and time again around here. I have a copy of it and would like to upload it. Just let me know what you think I should do. Also, have you seen the music video for "Ride" yet? It's amazing, but some critics panned it. :) --Thevampireashlee (talk) 21:58, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
- Send me a link to the deletion review when (if) you open one. I'll put in my two cents. Also, I've been working hard on the "Ride" article. Does it look good to you? --Thevampireashlee (talk) 22:15, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
- This entire ordeal, over an album cover, is ridiculous. The deck is obviously stacked against us here. There are multiple good articles on Wikipedia that use alternate covers with little or no critical commentary whatsoever. It seems like there's a deliberate effort to censor information on this artist. Now, every single Lana Del Rey music video screen shot is being requested for deletion. I think it's because I opposed the moving of Category:Images of Lana Del Rey to another name. I strongly suspect all of these images will end up being deleted all because of conflict of interest. --Thevampireashlee (talk) 23:56, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Non-free images
Please see here Your boilerplate text is insufficient as a rationale for fair use. You have to explain how each individual image significantly enhances readers' understanding of the topic for each article. If you cannot do that, then the images don't meet the fair use criteria and must be deleted. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 06:09, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- And again WP:NFCC makes it clear that we have to have substantial gains in understanding from the use of non-free media in every instance. You have't provided that for any of these images. An image that is non-free can't simply adorn an article: it must be indispensable to understanding. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 07:14, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Paradise EP.jpeg)
Thanks for uploading File:Paradise EP.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:24, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Re: List of songs recorded by Lady Gaga
Your addition is horrific. Far too big, far too bulky. Just because one person said to move it, doesn't mean he is right. The list is only supposed to include songs which where recorded' by Gaga, the name of the article is called List of songs recorded by Lady Gaga. So remove all that you can't confirm were recorded, now. And by looking at the list, that's a lot. AARON• TALK 17:52, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Dylan McDermott - SMW.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Dylan McDermott - SMW.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Magick (company) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Magick (company), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 00:59, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
