Global Warming
[edit]TS Handon, I tried to explain on the global warming talk page why it was unlikely that your contribution will be taken seriously ... in other words there is a concerted campaign to withhold information from the readers of wikipedia. And guess what ... even my own comments saying you need to combat the censorship and fight to drive the article toward a NPOV were removed.
This really is quite a difficult situation, because there are some serious allegations including evidence that some "scientists" have tried to withhold information and mislead the public using bogus statistics and whether or not the editors on the article have been directly involved, they clearly take exception to anyone who would dare to add anything that might question their belief in manmade global warming.
E.g. when everyone who knows anything about warming is discussing the relevance of the simple fact that the global temperature has not warmed/cooled/warming paused, for the last decade, the readers of wikipedia are still being told of active and current warming and there is not a single mention of this significant pause, which even the pro-global warming BBC have discussed.
I hope this gives you some of the background and hopefully you won't be put off trying to get an article that accurately reflects the current state of knowledge on the subject - warts and all! 88.110.76.120 (talk) 17:29, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
