Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, TJohnClark. avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

I apologise.

I added myself to the candidate list on your Bangor Aberconwy (UK Parliament constituency) page, which I can now see contradicts your 'conflict of interest' rules.

The information I added is however correct. I am a candidate and I have included a citation, and I would like to have my name included in that list.

I have added a 'Connected contributor' statement to the affected talk page. Please could you check it for me?

Or if you prefer please delete my original edit and I can ask for someone else to add my name to the list?

I apologise again. I understand Wikipedia's rules now relating to conflicts of interest and it will not happen again.

Thanks @TJohnClark, I appreciate your response. The COI declaration you've added to the article's talk page looks good. I can see you've added neutral and sourced information, so it's good to stay there.
