Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one of your recent edits to List of Total Drama All-Stars episodes has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Information icon Hello, I'm AussieLegend. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Total Drama All-Stars episodes, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please note, Wikis are not reliable sources and cn't be used as references AussieLegend () 14:32, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of Total Drama All-Stars episodes, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. AussieLegend () 05:42, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of Total Drama All-Stars episodes. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You've already been warned that wikis are not reliable sources. Do not add them again. If you can't verify something then it shouldn't be added, and adding an unreliable source with a tag expecting somebody else to do it is inappropriate. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Britney Jean may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Manicure cover art story

[edit]

Your story about the "Manicure" cover art has some serious holes in it. One of two things would seem to apply:

  1. The story is made up, and the image is not what you assert it to be.
  2. The story is valid, and the license tag on the image is invalid (or at least unverifiable), so the image should be removed from Commons.

Frankly, in the absence of reliable sources, there's no way to verify your claims about the cover art, so that section of text should be removed—as should the image. —C.Fred (talk) 00:26, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits at List of Total Drama All-Stars episodes

[edit]

I've addressed concerns about most of your edits on the article's talk page,[1] but your edits continue to be of concern. Your most recent edit has a couple of problems. "M" is not part of the episode title, so it should not be included in the |Title= field. Only the actual title should be in his field. Anything else should be placed in the |RTitle= field. The edit summary indicates that you've sourced the content from a promo. Promos and commercials are not generally regarded as reliable sources because they are not verifiable, as the must be in order to comply with our verifiability policy. --AussieLegend () 05:40, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

List of Total Drama: Pahkitew Island episodes‎

[edit]

Regarding the second episode title: can you explain not only exactly where in that Twitter feed that the episode title you added to List of Total Drama: Pahkitew Island episodes‎ can be verified, but can you also explain how this Twitter feed, with no evidence of having been vetted by Twitter as an official feed, should be trusted? Otherwise, you could face sanctions for persistently adding information to an article not backed up by a reliable source. —C.Fred (talk) 00:44, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you indicate specifically where you got File:TotalDramaTopher.jpg, so we can verify the source and that Fresh TV has given the image away? —C.Fred (talk) 01:10, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello TDBiggestFan, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to List of Total Drama All-Stars episodes has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AussieLegend () 02:55, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
