Hi TCMemoire! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Congratulations
The Stub Barnstar | ||
Thank you for your great work in clearing the stubs backlog, not just with "oh it's a bio-stub" but with well-chosen stub tags. Well done. (You seem to have worked an 8-hour day on it yesterday: don't forget fresh air and food and drink!) PamD 07:10, 5 August 2013 (UTC) |
oops
Sorry about my accidental rollback (now reverted) on SMP Negeri 1 Jakarta: I was browsing on my not-so-smart-phone and left my finger on the wrong spot. (I was admiring your user contribs list, having tracked you down by checking on a stub whose name had stuck in my mind, Two Buttes Gymnasium!) PamD
- Oh, it's fine! I was confused at first but then realized that it must have been a mistake. I saw that article too and had much more trouble not laughing than I should have! Thank you so much for the Barnstar! I'm glad to be a part of contributing to Wikipedia! TCMemoire (talk) 07:42, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
- I created that article but didn't see what you two did, actually. :) My bad. Nice work with a South Dakota NRHP article in your recent contributions, by the way. South Dakota seems really hard, there are few online resources about its historic sites. wp:NRHPhelp covers NRHP sources, and use of an infobox generator, by the way. --doncram 21:37, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you! It is very hard to find online sources about South Dakota. Some Americans don't even know it's a state... true story. Thankfully, I live in South Dakota, so I'm able to obtain several physical references (local history books, which are usually not widely published; and museums, which are either willing to contribute pictures or can help me find the best printed sources for research). And thank you very much for linking me to that help page! TCMemoire (talk) 23:38, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Thank you!
I would like to give a big thank you to the three people who reverted the vandalism on my userpage today: Clarkcj12, Dwpaul, and J.delanoy. I had no idea it had happened until the first one had been reverted, and then I couldn't keep up with all of the edits. It caught me off guard because it has never happened to me before, but it does not affect my willingness to keep contributing and fighting vandalism on Wikipedia. Again, thank you all very much. I truly appreciate it! TCMemoire (talk) 22:57, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- No problem at all! You're welcome. Sure you'd do the same for others. Dwpaul Talk 23:00, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery
TCMemoire, I noticed your article D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery has been nominated at DYK (transclusion below). In the article is a red link for blackspotted trout. I know nothing about fish, but did find a redirect for a similarly named fish and provide it here: Black-spotted cutthroat trout, if it is of any use to you. — Maile (talk) 22:14, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
- Whoops! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I've fixed the issue; I wasn't sure if an article on that particular fish existed, but after some searching, I am quite sure that it is the same one. Thank you! TCMemoire (talk) 19:35, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
User pages
Hey, no problem! It's not a mistake on your part, it's always an option. Where someone tries to create an article about themselves, it's often difficult to tell what they think they are doing. If the page isn't blatantly promotional, I tend to assume it's just that they don't know how to create a user page, but it can be difficult to tell - if I decide to move it, I take the speedy notice off so as not to confuse them. Hello, I'm Jetstreamer. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Aeroflot accidents and incidents in the 1980s, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I have reverted most of the additions you made to the article in this edit, as the changes were not supported by the references already included in the article. Jetstreamer Talk 11:36, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
It's the truth
I can provide evidence as well. I think it's very rich for the author not to have included the truth - seemed like a web ad, which is not what Wikipedia is about.
Kind regards, sincerely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.176.128.43 (talk) 08:12, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- I did not revert all of your additions, only your comment about Wikipedia itself. Thank you for recognizing that the article badly needs to be improved. However, the addition of at least one reliable source to your edits would be very much appreciated. It is policy that the reliability of information is based off these sources, not just the word of the editor. If you need help with citations, there are several guides available; try WP:CITE or, more specifically, H:FOOT. Your edits here are greatly appreciated! TCMemoire (talk) 08:49, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
