Thank you for experimenting with the page WWE RAW on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Re-Directs

[edit]

If you are going to move a page, make sure to change the re-directs to it. TJ Spyke 17:19, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't see your comments before. Try suggesting a move on it's talk page, it's very annoying when someone moves a page and doesn't fix re-directs(resulting in double re-directs). TJ Spyke 07:19, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page edits

[edit]

Please do not make edits or erase other user's comments on talk pages, as you did on the Talk:Ultimate Fighting Championship page.

Also remember to sign your name when you make comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

Thanks! Skeletor2112 04:39, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just re added a message you removed from Talk:Muhammad Ali. Was there a reason you removed it? In general, don't remove comments from talk pages. Cheers, Garion96 (talk) 13:09, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Final Warning(s)...

[edit]

I have been looking at your edits, and there is a startling pattern of either policy ignorance or outright rule-breaking...

First, in case you did not see my note on Talk:WWE Video Library, until you can provide evidence of WWE's ownership of Maple Leaf Wrestling, your additions will be removed. Please read Wikipedia:Verifiability. Continually adding unreferenced material to articles is considered vandalism and will result in a block from editing.

Second, you need to use edit summaries. You have made many major edits without once justifying or explaining yourself through edit summaries. Failure to use edit summaries in conjunction with your habit of adding unverified speculation will result in your work being reverted on sight.

Third, learn to use the preview button. This is not a policy reminder per se, but previewing your edits cuts down on the mass of useless incrimental edits you are building up, and is simply courteous to other editors looking at the page histories.

Fourth, do not create cross-namespace redirects as you continue to do with WWE Home Video. I have deleted it again. Continuously recreating deleted material will result in a block from editing. Additionally, do not leave random empty comments comments on talk pages as you have done here, they to will be deleted.

Fifth, your blatant personal attack here is frankly intolerable. If there is even one more instance of such an attack against another editor, you will be blocked.

Finally, you have been warned twice about removing the comments of other users. Yet, just two days ago, you did it again. This is also intolerable, and any further instance will result in a block without warning.

Overall, the above examples, culled from just the last couple of days of activity, paint an unfortunate picture: you are either completely ignorant of our policies, or you willfully violate them... If you are simply unfamilliar with our policies (despite your ammount of time here), then before you edit even one more page, you need to stop and read up on our policies. On top of that, you need to improve your overall ettiquette in dealing with other users. On the other hand, if you continue to willfully violate our policies, then you will be permanently banned. Period.

Either way, you are on very thin ice... if you fail to heed my warnings and take my advice, if you cross any of the lines I have painted above, then I will block you. You must understand that editing is a privelage, not a right, and there are rules that must be followed. It is a good thing that you wish to contribute, but it must be done in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the community. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 08:05, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Muhammad Ali versus Antonio Inoki has been deleted for copyright violation. The next time you copy from any website, you will be blocked. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 20:38, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do NOT remove tags without adressing the issue, as you did here. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 20:55, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

You removed content from a page without justifying your actions. Content removal is vandalism. You have been warned about this, and are now blocked for 24 hours. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 21:02, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In the past few days you have levied personal attacks, been incivil, made edits with outright copyvio, vandalism, and complete disregard of WP:V, WP:OR, and WP:NPOV, removed talk page content, ignored everyone who asked you nicely to follow our rules... To be honest, you are really lucky that somebody else has not blocked you yet. If you keep this up when the block espires, you will be blocked for progressively longer periods of time. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 10:57, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

MR, ive never engaged in vandalism, if there was anything that i edited that was considered unnecessary, than ill try NOT to do it again, though i never edit without a reason. and the antonio inoki thing that you spotted was the ONLY thing that i copied and pasted without permission. and its only been twice that ive removed somethin from the talk pages, and i didNt know that people get mad when you do that!!! and i do NOT recall being asked nicely to follow the rules other than YOU and those TWO times for editting the talk pages, and i dont think youre so nice, either. i am a good member here, and have made some strong contributions and personally observe a lot. (im probably the only person whose into pro wrestlin, MMA, boxing, anime, PokeMon, 'real' hip hop, trading cards, games, internet, Tv, etc, etc, and i try to make contributions in all of this!!!).
Do not try to lie to me. I have just re-deleted the Ali vs. Anoki article because, well, lo and behold, its a copyvio! Here is the page you ripped off in case you want to try and say you did nothing wrong... http://www.njpw.com/events/2003/1231/history.shtml

As a result of your repeated copyvio and recreation of deleted material, you are re-blocked, now for three days. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 01:39, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

if you read both the articles and tried to match them together you'll see my article has a lot WAY more info, that website does not say anything on how much they were paid for the fight, or anything about Andre the giant or Chuck Wepner or Rocky, or the aftermath for both men, or the US broadcast of the fight, how many tv locations showed the fight, the paragrapgh about the major rule changes, NJPW keeping the live gate income, or the alternate names of the event, or Even WHERE the fight took place, or how inoki challenged ali in the first place etc, etc or anything, to tell the truth, the ONLY things extracted from the NJPW website is the ticket prices, the first two or three lines on the Criticisms and Reviews paragraph, and a few lines of the part of Ali giving his Ali Bom-Ba-ye thing to Inoki. These are the ONLY things taken fron the website!!! and ive written all of that in my own words, ive added and changed!!! so, WHY did you do that!!! the firt times you deleted, i respect, it WAS copy violation, but this second time was UNJUST, if you just observe the two articles, if you compare mine with the website's, theres nothing in common, and mine has WAY more info and detail, man!!! so, i request you to please, bring back that article, i worked for hours and hours on that thing, just cuz YOU didNt like me copying stuff!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by T00C00L (talkcontribs) 07:44, August 25, 2006

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joe Flizzow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
