Feedback on your article

[edit]

Hello T.ries, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. I especially will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.

  • First: please go look in other articles!
  • Intro sentence: Good you have the full title in the first sentence. The way how you added the translation for the title is not the common one, but is an alternative way that is okay too.
  • Links: Please only use square brackets to make a link, do not use curly brackets. Please change this, and do not add spaces between them. Go to another article and see how it is done there.
  • Headers: Missing! Also split your article in more sections to make reading easier. Headers are needed in an article, because they provide readers structure and understanding what a section is about. Usually we start with headers with the second section.
  • References: Missing!
  • Context/timeframe: Missing!
  • How was the book received: Missing!

I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. For today's meeting please fix the links! Please show me your article today when you fixed it. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 10:41, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello T.ries, Thank you for improving your article! Last week we specifically asked to make sure you add sources/references to your article, because that is one of the most important parts of a Wikipedia article. We also wanted to make sure the intro sentence/section is ready. Let's see how it is going now.
  • Intro sentence: good!
  • Links: Thank you for the fixes. You can find some more key subjects that need to be linked, including the authors.
  • Headers: To keep you on track with the rest of the students, I fixed the headers in your article. Still some headers + content are missing.
  • References: I only count 2 independent sources, I asked for three. Please add more sources. If you have troubles finding them, ask for help!
  • Context/timeframe: Missing! (please add as separate header)
  • How was the book received: Missing! (please add as separate header)
You need to do much more, you are running behind compared to the other students. Romaine (talk) 02:58, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi T.ries, The image you had requested to be scanned has been kept (and not deleted) because it is too simple to be copyrighted. I just added it to your sandbox article. Romaine (talk) 02:36, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
