How you can help

Hi,

I am not sure if I have fully understood what you want to do. You cannot "take control" of a Wikipedia article since everybody may edit it. So may you, though as someone affiliated with the article's subject, you will have to be careful to strictly adhere to a neutral point of view. If "taking control" means what User:Comm2008 did, i.e. replacing the article with "www.fednav.com", that is not possible. I reverted that because you removed all the information from the article and is furthermore regarded as advertising - something WP was not made for.

If your company is notable enough you are going to have to live with the fact that there is a WP article about it. Of course you won't have to accept any slanderous edits or disclosure of company secrets. But from what I can see all the information in the article is taken from your website anyway. So it is publicly available and WP just puts it into an encyclopedic form. That is what users expect when they are searching for your company on Wikipedia. If they only wanted to find your homepage, they would be better off using Google.

I hope I could clear things up a little.

By the way, when editing a talk page please add the new entry to the bottom of the page - that way you make sure the page stays in chronological order and the new entry is actually found (I didn't see your edit at first).

Regards,
