Hello Syane,
I see that this is your first contribution to English Wikipedia. I can imagine the feelings of seeing your first contribution being the subject of a deletion discussion. While there is no problem with creating an article it is often better to start with some more minor such as fixing a typographical error or adding a reference for something that has a tag saying one is needed or simply expanding a shorter article. As you gain more understanding of Wikipedia's guidelines and formatting style you could start creating articles. If you ever want some help you can ask on my talk page or by emailing me.
