Falklands
[edit]Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Falkland Islands. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 18:25, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- You have reverted the article four times in half an hour [1][2][3][4]. Except in cases of fighting vandalism, this is counter to policy and will get you blocked. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 18:36, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just because this is not byte-for-byte the same, your first edit there is a rollback to a previous version. Note in the policy that the revert can be in whole or in part, it does not have to be precise. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 18:48, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
assuming good faith
[edit]My bad, I didn't realize there was a content dispute going on at the Falkland Islands page. I was simply RC patrolling and, quite honestly, your edit looked like vandalism. An edit summary would have done a lot to counter that impression. But please take your own advice and remember to assume good faith. Natalie 18:41, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Whose sockpuppet are you, please? Jonathunder 18:54, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
What on earth is a sockpuppet?----Swuekilafe 20:43, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- As all of your edits have been to revert to previous versions in a single article, this account sure looks like a sockpuppet, as you probably know full well. Please stop. Jonathunder 19:12, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Perhaps a sockpuppet check would be in order, SqueakBox 20:18, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay I know what a sockpuppet is. And I aint one. Whjat happened to Jonathanunder and good faith lol--Swuekilafe 22:24, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism?
[edit]Why is my reversion of your unexplained removal of a large set of instructions vandalism? The Red Hat of Pat Ferrick 18:06, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Cos they aint called the Malvinas except by the odd lefty wacko--Swuekilafe 18:11, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- You summarily removed not only the instructions at the top of the article, but the first paragraph too. THAT is vandalism. The Red Hat of Pat Ferrick 18:14, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
No I didnt, the first paragraph is still there. So what are you talking about?--Swuekilafe 18:20, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- This edit of yours removed a large chunk of text. I reverted this removal, and then you accused me of vandalism. I think an apology is in order. The Red Hat of Pat Ferrick 18:22, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Well it looked like vandalism to me but if you say it wasnt I believe you. Sorry.--Swuekilafe 18:30, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Red Hat is right that what he did was not vandalsim and labelling it as such doesnt help your cause. Please Assume good faith, SqueakBox 18:52, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism to Falkland Islands - warning test3
[edit]Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Falkland Islands, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You are well aware of the ongoing discussions at that page, and the need for consensus. Actions such as what you just did do not help to maintain a civil atmosphere. Ckatzchatspy 22:14, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Now I am confused. How is what I did vandalism and what Red Hat did not vandalism. I just read your page and what vandalism is and that aint what I did at all. Indeed its pretty obvious that what I did isnt vandalism at all. It was a geniune edit. Where can I report you?--Swuekilafe 23:25, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- If you honestly can't see why, you probably shouldn't be contributing to WP. The Red Hat of Pat Ferrick 23:47, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Actually he removed a few words, the rest was hiddent ext and hence not really a part of the article whereas he accused you of vandalism for adding these few points. Instead of chasing him of wikipedia surely he should be givwen an explanation though I dont really say any difference between what he was doing and what other editors have been doing at the article, including both you and I, SqueakBox 23:51, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Falklands War
[edit]Can you please explain why you removed referenced material here?--Vintagekits 23:14, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- What? That rubbish about the Malvinas War. Sounds like you dont know what you are talking about, mate.--Swuekilafe 23:26, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- You say you were in the navy! Have you never heard of the Malvinas War? Did you read any of the multiple sources I left? Why did you not remove any of the other names listed? And who are you a sock of?--Vintagekits 23:28, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
I did fight in various wars and none of them was called the Malvinas War. Aint never heard of a place called the Malvinas.--Swuekilafe 23:31, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Want to answer any of the other questions - I'll number them for you. 1. Have you never heard of the Malvinas War? 2. Did you read any of the multiple sources I left? 3. Why did you not remove any of the other names listed? 4. And who are you a sock of?--Vintagekits 23:33, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
You seem pretty dense to me, didnt I just say I never heard of the Malvinas War. Your crappy leftist excuses for references wont wash with me and why would I remove other names. What kind of a silly question is that. I read your user page and then had to go and be sick.--Swuekilafe 23:44, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Swuekilafe, it would be better to let other users to collaborate if you dont have experience in the matter, per se as you said: you never heard of a place called the Malvinas.- Jor70 23:40, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Jor70, I fought in the Falklands War so please dont say I am ignorant of that conflict.--Swuekilafe 23:44, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- You fought in the Falklands War but you never heard of the term "the Malvinas" - and you say your not ignorant! hhhmmmmmmm!--Vintagekits 23:47, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
What the hell are you talking about. What you think we all went down there with the Lets reclaim the Malvinas? attitude or what? The first time I heard of the Malvinas was on this encyclopedia. Your rubbish that somehow all of us who fought down there talk about those Malvinas Islands is insulting and completely off the wall. We fought to defend the right of people not to talk Spanish and not to be bullied by Argentinians who dont own the islands or the people who live there, didnt own the islands and wont own the islands.--Swuekilafe 23:58, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Who is "us" and "we" - you sound too ignorant to even be allowed edit wiki to be honest. Try reading WP:NPOV and come back in 10 years!--Vintagekits 00:01, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Swuekilafe, I not called you ignorant , and I apologize if I disturb you; but as a war veteran please dont offend my intelligence saying you never heard Malvinas. And if so, please refer to my prevouios post and let other people do so --Jor70 00:03, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Pleased to here it. I cant honestly remember, I wasnt an officer so we were never told very much, and of course I never actually (have) set foot on the Falklands. I may have been told they were called the Malvinas when we on our way but I certainly dont have any memory of that, and I certainly never heard of this Malvinas War till reading it on wikipedia. And judging from Vintagekits so called references its just a leftie term used by those who would weaken the prestige of Great Britain in the world. And Vintage calls our Irish flag this sectarian rag. So I wont be taking him seriously any time soon.--Swuekilafe 00:14, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- That's former flag, for the record. One Night In Hackney303 00:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry to interrupt you guys, but I think you're talking about two different matters. If Swuekilafe was part of the Task Force in 1982, he was told that they were fighting the Falklands War, not Malvinas War. So "I certainly never heard of this Malvinas War" (in 1982) is correct.
- But an encyclopaedia should also contain later names, e.g. they were not so pessimistic to call the First World War for World War One in 1914-18. It's obvious that Vintagekits is some kind of IRA-fan, and very anti-British. But if Malvinas War is used in English en masse, it should be added. Necessary Evil 12:58, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- En masse it is not used and NE's sounds like a good description of Vintage. Please ignore his attacks against you, my apologies on behalf of the project as you are very new here, and shouldnt have to put up with that kind of attack. You are, of course, very welcome, SqueakBox 16:42, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Stop talking pish Squak - rad my initial messege asking him politely to explain his edit - all pretty normal and straight forward. Then his reply was "What? That rubbish about the Malvinas War. Sounds like you dont know what you are talking about, mate" - hhhmmmmmm! I'll say no more!--Vintagekits 16:47, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

"you sound too ignorant to even be allowed edit wiki to be honest. Try reading WP:NPOV and come back in 10 years!" sounds like a personal attack to me and Swuekilafe has about 30 edits to his name, you have thousands and should know better than to try and chase newbies off the site, SqueakBox 16:52, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- He is about as much of a new editor as you are.--Vintagekits 16:53, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hardly. See here, and remember AGF. You may think he is a sockpuppet but without the slightest evidence and no knowledge of whose sockpuppet I would suggest that is just more attacking on your part because you cant handle people disagreeing with you (we have abundant proof of tyhat on Sir William's afd) but you shouldnt be surprised that people disagree with your anti-Brit (politically speaking) viewpoint, SqueakBox 16:58, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Ops, I didnt realize Swuekilafe was refering the term 'Malvinas War, I thought he was talking about never heard the islands to be called Malvinas, If that the case, I apologize again. --Jor70 18:06, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
If I had heard of Las Malvinas I cant remember, I just got on with my job and left the politicking to the politicians and the navigation to the Captain, never even saw the islands but did get scared (though fortunately our ship wasnt torpedoed or sunk). As for the IRA, bunch of murdering terrorists, never did understand why we negotiated with them but I understand now that the encyclopedia anyone can edit means the slime as well as the good guys.--Swuekilafe 19:43, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Your right, I never understood why the IRA negotiated with a bunch of murdering terrorists.--Vintagekits 22:36, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
