Hello and welcome Swineinfluenza,
thanks for your interest. An user have answer to you there : Talk:2009_swine_flu_outbreak#protection, you can submit changes proposals on the talk page.
The article's page is « 'semi-protected' ». Yesterday alone, the page got about 500.000 visit. Accordingly, to avoid teenagers to add misleading sentences [which we then have to clean up within 1 mins :) ], we are used to semi-protect such highly visited pages. That forbidden new users to edit the article. to become an 'old user', you need to wait 4 days, and to make 50 edits. All my apologizes for this, that's sadly need. (there is too much teenagers on the web)
So please, submit your changes proposals on the talkpage: Talk:2009_swine_flu_outbreak. Yug (talk) 15:43, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
- I also encourage you to write a bit about yourself, on your personnal user page: User:Swineinfluenza, that will help us (and me) to understand your background : student, medic, curious, etc. Yug (talk) 15:43, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
