The Ga Adangebe started off in Egypt ( Kemet ) in a city called Goshen. Then they began to leave Egypt during 672-525 B.C. On that journey, they crossed Ethiopia and moved into Nigeria. Again they migrated across West Africa and finally stopped in Ghana, which became their permanent home. (Ga-Adangbe people, Origin and History, 2013 n.d)
They first emerged from in the Ghanaian rain forest and the Shai Hills around the year 1000 A.D.

In the year of the 1930's the Ga saw the first pioneer. Then soon the pioneers found out about the Gold coast and this was the place were they traded and ship items from Ghana. Then on October 30th 1929 missionary introduced Christianity. (Ga-Adangbe people, Origin and History, 2013 n.d)
The Ga has many cultural believes like Christianity and Shamanism. Their first belief was Shamanism when they worshiped their gods and ansitors but now some of the Ga has moved to Christianity which was introduced to them the In the 1835 a missionary named Joseph Rhodes spread Christianity through Ghana of where the Ga lived.

They are apart of a ethnic group in Ghana called the Akan, Ewe, Mole-Dagbane, and the Guan.
