Notability of Shivani kapoor

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Shivani kapoor, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WebHamster 15:12, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Blackoutt.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Blackoutt.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:10, 12 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Carbon Monoxide 01:10, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Britney's fifth album, Blackout.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Blackoutt.jpg. The copy called Image:Blackoutt.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 01:15, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Britney's fifth album, Blackout.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Britney's fifth album, Blackout.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:43, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Shivani Kapoor

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Shivani Kapoor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Sweetcherrycoke! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 7 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Hazel Croney - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 20:42, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Monica Dogra has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Travelbird (talk) 04:38, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the community has determined that IMDB is not considered a reliable source with a reputation for fact checking and accuracy regarding personal information. I have removed its use for such in Monica DograActive Banana (bananaphone 20:12, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011

Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Nargis Fakhri. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Off2riorob (talk) 23:04, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The woman is born in 1979. There is so much of proof to provide.

Nargis Fakhri and all other uncited additions

[edit]

Hi - you are continuing on with your pattern of adding uncited claims after repeated warnings - you are also not explaining yourself at all - if you do not stop or start discussion I will request your editing privileges are removed and restricted. Off2riorob (talk) 00:30, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

She said it on America's Next Top Model that she is 24 years old. What more proof do you want? She is born in 1979.

What proof is there that she is born in 1989? I will also report on you if you continue to make that claim.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Nargis Fakhri, you may be blocked from editing. User is repeatedly adding uncited dates of birth, they have been requested to discuss and provide WP:RS but nothing has been presented Off2riorob (talk) 00:34, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Shraddha Kapoor, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Off2riorob (talk) 21:37, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
