21/10/16 - Hello, I am completely new to Wikipedia. Please be patient while I get to grips with using this site. I do feel I have a lot to offer especially in UK Police History. My late Father was a serious collector and I'd like to share what I have and remember of his knowledge here. Please do correct me if you see anything wrong that I have done. Thank you.

I received your email and the sarcasm is noted. I was not enthusiastic about deleting the article but an article that sits for three hours with nothing more than an image of a badge does not belong. If you had typed the sentence that you typed in your new article instead of leaving a note on the talk page that said you could hopefully add some more in a day or two that would have been enough to stop me from deleting it. -- GB fan 15:48, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Some of us are not quite the expert that you seem to be when we only have just joined five hours earlier. You could have acted a bit more kindly towards a newcomer. I am struggling to find my way around here and you are not helping. A whole half hour just to trying to place an image in a page and whoosh! it's gone. That isn't fair. Swainys-Boy (talk)

No one says you need to be an expert. I am sorry that what I did seems harsh to you. It was nothing personal. I left you a welcome message with lots of useful links. If you need any help, just ask. -- GB fan 16:35, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I also apologise if I came across as a bit sarcastic to you, I got a little hot under the collar with things. Thank you for the helpful pointers, I'll get the hang of things eventually. Cheers! --Swainys-Boy (talk) 16:43, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
