Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Swagsgod. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:53, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:56, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, Swagsgod,
- Wikipedia doesn't exist as a webhost for you to write about your own ideas and musings on the universe and yourself. It is an encyclopedia with referenced articles on notable subjects. Please use your User talk page for communicating with other editors and keep your drafts to your Sandbox or other User pages besides your User and User talk pages. If you have questions about this, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:59, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. CycloneYoris talk! 09:44, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Www.ghanagov.org
[edit]Hello, Swagsgod,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username BoyTheKingCanDance, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Www.ghanagov.org, for deletion, because it is a very short article that doesn't provide readers with enough context to determine who or what the subject is.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|BoyTheKingCanDance}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
