DYK for Sydney Mary Thompson
[edit]On 12 November 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Sydney Mary Thompson, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that geologist Sydney Mary Thompson discovered a glacial erratic that redefined the westernmost extent of the Irish Sea Glacier? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sydney Mary Thompson. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Contacting Editors from the Ada Lovelace Editathons
[edit]Hi SuwCA,
I hope you don’t mind me contacting you via your talk page. I’m a new Editor to Wikipedia, part of a small research team based at the University of Birmingham in the UK. I’m getting in touch as we’re trying to contact all the Editors who were involved in the Ada Lovelace Editathons in Oxford or London. If you have been, or still are, involved in editing, whatever the scale of your involvement, we would be very grateful for the opportunity to talk to you about your experiences. In the first instance, we’ve set up a short (10 minute) survey, which you can access via my User Talk Pages. If you are interested in helping with our research project, please can you drop me a line?
Thanks, RuthPage (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:30, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
