User talk:Susan Gillingham
Your Wikipedia article
[edit]Hello Susan! I am Gaia Octavia Agrippa, the wikipedian who wrote the article Susan Gillingham.
Thank you for you comment on GrahamHardy's talk page. You mentioned that there are some addition and corrections you wish to make to the article.
As this is the internet and on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog, it is not possible to presume that you are the true Susan Gillingham. Because of this it would not be acceptable to use any comments you may make here (on your user talk page) as fact. Wikipedia has stringent guidelines when it comes to WP:Biographies of living persons, such as the need to use WP:reliable sources for the content. Also, you yourself cannot make them directly (as this would be a conflict of interest).
However, this does not mean that correction or additions to your article can't be made. Any errors can be removed immediately, if you would be so kind as to point those out here or on the article's talk page. Additions are slightly more tricky. If there is something you want adding that already stated in a reliable source (perhaps a published interview or one of your academic profiles), then I will be happy to add it. On the other hand, if there is something you would like to add that is not readily available, it would be best that you add the information to one of your profiles (college or department) so that it can be added to the article with a reference.
Hopefully this has made sense. If you have any questions do please ask, simply add a comment below. If you wish to move immediately onto correcting/adding to the article, please write what you need doing below. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 00:44, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
