ArbCom 2018 election voter message
Hello, SusanLesch. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
DYK nom for Solar storm of August 1972
The issues raised in the DYK review seem readily resolvable. For the hooks being too long, if we choose to shorten, I would say retain the record speed and detonations of the mines, and to dump mention of the other technological disruptions which occur with other storms and thus aren't unique. Evolauxia (talk) 00:18, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
- Please go ahead and edit your hooks. (Both of mine are 200 chars or less.) Sorry studies prevent my getting into that today. Also, I had left you a note on the talk page. Thanks. -SusanLesch (talk) 04:11, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
- P.S. Yes I agree with you. We can just use the record speed and the mines. -SusanLesch (talk) 14:55, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
Chembox assistance
Howdy! Based on some of your recent edits and your interest in the Chemistry Project, I'm hoping you might be interested in helping me out with something. I'm working on building a {{Infobox}} based replacement for {{Chembox}}. I have a working proof of concept at {{Infobox chemical}}. Looking for some expert opinions and feedback. If you have any interest, please let me know. Feel free to disregard this message. :-) (P.S. Happy thanksgiving if you are in the USA!) --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 19:23, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
