Reverts

Hello Supreme Deliciousness. I have undone your reverts on El Rom and Ein Qiniyye. The {{Israel populations}} template simply displays the current population of the places using figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics – this is where the previous figure for El Rom was actually cited to, and the source of the figure for Ein Qiniyye (having the template allows us to update the population figures for all the places the CBS gives them for in a single edit, rather than having to update >1,200 articles every year). It does not make the word "Israel" appear in the article, and I am fully aware that these places are not in Israel as several years ago I was involved in removing Israeli settlements from the "in Israel" categories (which resulted in several pro-Israel editors voting against me at my RfA – check out the top oppose comment).

Unfortunately it seems that you did not actually bother to check what the template did when you made the revert (I assume you just hit the undo button when you saw the word Israel), and as a result you also reverted a few formatting fixes (such as formatting the Ynetnews reference on Ein Qiniyye). Please look a bit more carefully about what you're doing in future rather than making blind reverts. Thanks, Number 57 07:58, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
