Look at the history, geography, culture, dialect, even present conflict in Lebanon and how it is connected to Syrian civil war to see the logic behind what I wrote. btw, I know some people from Lebanon and Syria and honestly I have difficulties distinguishing them. They are almost the same in terms of culture and physical appearance. And therefore, if the study assumed that Syrian people are close enough to the Jews based on DNA, hence the Lebanese people have to be added to that group.
