SD: Please wait until a consensus has been reached on the talk page regarding the appropriateness of Israeli photos in the article, before going through and removing them. Just because you feel that your own questions have not been adequately answered, does not mean that you can make an arbitrary decision to remove photos based upon your personal dislike of Israeli photos in the article. The article Al-Marsad has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Thank you for pointing out other problem articles on Wikipedia. If you see problem articles, you can help out yourself by adding applicable template notes, or indicate that it shouldn't be on Wikipedia.

Unfortunately, deficient articles are not meant to be examples we should follow. Rather, we want to encourage users to follow the notability criteria (in this case, specifically for organizations), among other valuable criteria.

Hummus photo

Hi SD,

I thought I would let you know that your photo of the Hummus can from Sweden has been nominated for deletion on the Wikipedia commons because it is a branded cover which includes a copyrighted logo. Such images are not allowed on the Wikipedia commons. I was not the nominator, in fact the reason I am writing you is to tell you how to save the image. You will have to re-upload a smaller, low-resolution copy of it to English Wikipedia and license it as a non-free branded cover image.

When you upload the photo to English Wiki, insert the following parameters into the description box:

|Article= Hummus
|Description= Low resolution photo that I took myself of an example of commercially available canned Hummus. It incorporates a logo, which I claim as fair use on the English Wikipedia. I moved the branded product cover info to the licensing section. Although you took the photo, its considered a derivative work (ie: the logo on can is not yours), and hence it technically cannot be released to public domain. By the way, if you decide to use the "hummus can" photo in any other articles, you will have to add another "fair use" section (below the one written for the hummus article) that specifically names the new article you want to use it in. Terminology

I agree with your removal of terms such as "Murder" etc. from the Shebaa Farms article. Given the strength of those terms, they should not be used unless in a direct quote. I restored the section on Hezbollah since it was sourced.
