I created the page miRoamer by accident before without editing, and it's been deleted with the message:"02:53, 1 October 2008 RHaworth (talk | contribs) deleted "Miroamer" (A3: No meaningful, substantive content: we gave it several hours to be expanded)".
Now, I've finish the editing of the miRoamer page. It's in "User:Superldm/Miroamer", and it's an introduction of the miRoamer company. But I am afarid it would be delete again. Could somebody please help me to check if it is okay to put the page up in Wikipedia? If okay, I will put it up. If not okay, could you please tell me what should I alter to make it available please? Superldm (talk) 06:53, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
- IMHO, it's pure promotion - the inclusion of award logos is the absolute proof. It looks to me like it was written by someone who is involved with the company. I'll leave the help request up for others to comment. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:40, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
- The wikitext is fine; I have to say that with above the article is written from a point of view - we're trying to acheive WP:NPOV when writing articles. Secondly, you sound like you're promoting a company, e.g "miRoamer allows end users to navigate, select, access and share our catalogue of digital media" sounds like you are in fact working for them. Articles are never written in first or second person, always third person. Other examples of POV are when you say the chief has a lot of ICT experience - not directly related to the company itself. This means your article may be deleted under "advertising/promotion" criteria if you do not fix the POV up. It may be even not notable if an admin thinks so. Nifky^ 13:05, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

{{helpme}} Hello, thank you very much again for your help. I've made some changes in my page "User:Superldm/Miroamer". Could you please check it again before I remove the {{underconstruction}}? I apologies for any inconvenience that I caused, but I really don't want to put up an unvalidated page and been deleted once more. I appreciate any of your help! Now could you please check to see if my page "User:Superldm/Miroamer" is ready to be published?Superldm (talk) 02:45, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not quite; it needs some more sources, and also, the tone of the article sounds promotional: you even use the word "our". All articles must be neutral in tone, only presenting the facts without fancy language or opinions. fetchcomms☛ 02:55, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
{{helpme}} I've add some more sources. Is my page "User:Superldm/Miroamer" ready to be published? If not, could you please tell me what should I change? Or is there a way that I can publish the page and let anybody help with the page? Thank you very much for any of help.Superldm (talk) 05:22, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've seen that you've improved the article a bit, but there are still some issues (COI):
- "miRoamer is a digital media platform solution designed and built ground up by Mi Media Holdings to delivering its collection of internet media in the way regardless of the platform or product." - I wouldn't call a platform a 'solution' to internet media, as it's from a point of view. I'd suggest to cut the word solution out from that sentence.
- "George Parthimos has previously spent over 10 years working for the Telstra Corporation (Australia's telecommunications company) where he has specialized in developing Internet and emerging multimedia products and services. Certain key milestones include the deployment of Telstra's broadband Internet products in 1997, and the development of an e-Commerce online payment system in 1998. In the 2000, George took on the role of Broadband Infrastructure Program Manager, where he coordinated an aggregated portfolio of Internet infrastructure renewal projects valued at over AU$80 Million annually. Currently, George is the founder and CEO of miRoamer" - I'd rather not have a single section dedicated for the founder and CEO if it's talking about his past experiences before actually working in the company. Are there any other sources out there that talks about what he has done (preferably not from the company's website)? I'd cut out the whole Telstra bit and events before 2001 and actually talk about what he has done for the company, and the time after the first day it was founded. We're here to talk about what is miRoamer, not the biography of George, who can have his own page if he's notable enough.
- Are the listing of products really necessary? They all seem to be from one source; the company's website. That is already a conflict of interest. Are there any other sites (e.g. news sites, tech blogs/sites) that talk about its products, rather than the company's website? What makes the product very special to be listed apart from being on the company's website? If nothing else on the internet talks about its products outside the company's website, it's best not to include the section at all. Especially from a company that is vague in its information (not very common outside of that region), the products listing is not needed as more information on the product is hard to find elsewhere except from the company itself. Compare this with Microsoft, which has extensive information from other non-related sources that talks about its products - hence listing its products is more easier, less COI-y, notable and possible.
If you have any more questions, or suggestions please don't hesitate to ask. Hopefully this is a good helpout before it can return to the mainspace again :) Nifky^ 08:16, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your help, which is turely a great help. I'll try to think more carefully about my page. Thank you very much again.Superldm (talk) 13:01, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
{{helpme}} I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask help for someone to check if my article is ready to publish on Wikipedia, but this is the only way I know so far. :) Sorry if I caused any inconvenience. However, I've made some correction of my page which is "User:Superldm/Miroamer". I appreciate any of your recommendation of what things I need to improve. Thank you very much!Superldm (talk) 04:05, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, you might want to post this question here - WP:FEED. It is a page specifically designed to help people improve their articles. Other editors will read your article and tell you what you think of it. Hope this helps! Chevymontecarlo. 16:59, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Miroamer.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Miroamer.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. fetchcomms☛ 02:50, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Mimediawards.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Mimediawards.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. fetchcomms☛ 02:51, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Miroamer.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Miroamer.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. • ɔ ʃ → 04:07, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

I have given a short reply to your request
[edit]Hello, just to say that I have tried to help you out with your request that you made here a while ago. I figured that you've probably forgotten about this by now so I thought I'd notify you that I've replied - your request seems to have been buried by all the new ones :( Chevymontecarlo 19:07, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Feedback archived
[edit]Hi there.
A while ago, you requested feedback in WP:FEED. Because it has been a while, and you'd received at least some response there, I have now archived the replies in Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/Archive/27. Please do not edit that page though; if you require further feedback, add a new request on WP:FEED.
I am trying to clear the backlogs; it would help us a lot if you could look at the requests from other users on WP:FEED and add any comments to help them out. Anyone can respond there, so please do take a look, and comment on the articles from other people.
If you want help with anything at all, you could either;
- Leave a message on my own talk page;
OR
- Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end;
OR
- Talk to us live, with this or this.
The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello. Best, Chzz ► 19:39, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
