Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 03:42, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Assessment from an article page
[edit]Thank you for helping out with the Biography assessment drive. Good news. Outriggr recently designed a script that will cut youf biography assessment time down by about ten fold (what took ten hours now may only take one hour with Outriggr's script). For more information, please see the 'assessment from article page' discussion. -- Jreferee 20:14, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Ok i tri an doit rite. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. -- Shadowlynk 20:41, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
Thank you
[edit]Yes I did redo the entire The Machines (professional wrestling) from scratch, I did not care much for the stub that was there before so I put together a much better article on it. And thanks :) MPJ-DK 14:21, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
adoption
[edit]If i may, I would suggest you remove your adoption template. You are an experienced editor, and you have even joined a wikiproject (of which i am also a part of). J-stan Talk 20:35, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

League of Copyeditors roll call
[edit]Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there. The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors. |

Adoption
[edit]Wow, it's been a while since I made that offer; I'm glad you're still interested. I've swapped the templates to show that I've adopted you. If by 'tags' you mean the templates we put in articles, there's a very detailed list of them together with their effects at Wikipedia:Template messages and the pages it links to. As for the practices, it's a little more difficult to give a brief answer for that, although Wikipedia:Five pillars is a good place to start. If you'd like to ask me more specific questions, I should be able to give you more useful information.
That said, I do want to warn you that I might not respond quite as quickly as usual over the next two or three days, since it's the beginning of the term and I have a few issues to take care of. I'll do my best to check at least daily for messages from you, though, so it shouldn't take me too long to respond. I look forward to helping you out in the future. --Sopoforic (talk) 04:33, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Speedy Deletions
[edit]A tag has been placed on New Franklin, Stark County, Ohio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. §hep • ¡Talk to me! 02:01, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- I found some more details at the United States Geological Survey's Geographic Names Information System at http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic and added them to the article. I do not think that the article is at risk of deletion now. --Eastmain (talk) 02:55, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
