Welcome to Wikipedia.

I have noticed that you recently changed the layout of Windows 8 article so that there were two section, each containing only one sentence. So, I feel obliged to tell you that it is not how we work here is Wikipedia. In Wikipedia, when two or more contextually similar sections (or even articles) do not have enough contents, we merge them. So, since release to manufacturing and general availability are contextually very related, we merge them into one single section, "Release".

Perhaps Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Layout is worth visiting.
