It looks as if you have been having a small "edit war" with your contributions to the Jersey Devil article. I see what your contributions were but don't understand why the were removed by a Wikipedia editor. Some of them appear to have been replaced, but it's not clear to me what the rationale has been for deleting or replacing. The appropriate place to discuss this is the Talk page for the article, where I think there should be some clarification about how to report documented recent sightings without the information being removed for being interpreted as "sensational". Can you check on this and get back to me? I would like for your edits, which seem well-documented, to be included. Given a topic such as this, what kinds of reports of sightings would not be "sensational"? That said, it would be good to see some content from you regarding evaluations of pseudoscientific claims. For example, you might add references to elements of Carl Sagan's "Baloney Detection Kit". For example, what would be a good application of Occam's razor to this case? What would be some good strategies for fact-checking? What would be some examples of alternative explanations? Hoopes (talk) 19:48, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
