Feedback on Draft:Cliff Tait

[edit]

Hi. I have renamed Draft:Cliff Tait, as you expressed a wish for, and which I agree with. I have also done some clean-up of the article to Wikipedia format. Something that remains to be done is to remove the external links in the main body of the article. Generally they can be converted into references, which is something you may know how to do, as you did make several refs. Cheers. Nurg (talk) 10:13, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey thanks! I'm really new, this is my first new article, so any help is hugely appreciated! I really don't know what I'm doing yet! SunCamper (talk) 00:36, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey thanks so much for your feedback. I wrote the text after reading the published books and articles, but I'm not sure how to cite them when the documents are printed and not online? I couldn't believe that this guy didn't have a mention in Wikipedia after all his feats and records. SunCamper (talk) 00:42, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Turnagra, this bloke is in the Museums in New Zealand, he is a hero over there and the information is all accessible through their museums. I'm just a newby here, can anyone help to get a page up for him? it's all real, the information is well known in his books and museum and news clips, and in the oral history at the museum, I don't know what else I can do. Some of the sections are from his book and oral history, but I can't post links to that as far as I know because the books are out of print but held in the museum. Can someone help or tidy this up or remove what needs to be removed so he has some sort of acknowledgement? It's unfathomable that the person to fly the smallest aircraft around the world at the time doesn't even have a mention. SunCamper (talk) 02:37, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
