Yes, this text is taken from the ENPA website - which, as an employee, I wrote myself. An email has been send to permissions stating that this text can be used.

The previous version I wrote was unjustifiably deleted, so this has been rewritten and I believe should be acceptable. It is very similar to the entry on the World Association of Newspapers.

If there are any issues please do not hesistate to write on this wall and inform me before deleting the article.

This is NOT "blatant advertising" but a valid listing on an international associations.

Because this article has been deleted once for being promotional, you really should not have re-created it without seeking help from more experienced editors. A better approach would have been to create it as a subpage of your user page first, User:Summersso/European Newspaper Publishers Association for example, and asked for it to be reviewed by other editors before posting to the mainspace. As it is you still have a massive COI and merely reposting the article in almost identical terms as the deleted article will obviously attract extra attention from new page patrollers. – ukexpat (talk) 15:58, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right, I've created a userpage as suggested by UKexpat, for you/someone to review. It just doesn't strike me as "promotional" - it's a listing on an international association, rather like the World Association of Newspapers, or even the OSCE/UN!!! It lists a) who ENPA is, who the represent b) what their objectives and issues are and c) who their members are.

Travelling Cari - thanks for the link to Google News articles on ENPA, but frankly, Google News is a copyright violator taking newspaper content without remuneration and is the subject of a €49.1 billion law suit in Belgium. I am not intending to copy text from sites which I've been directed to by a spider like Google News. Plus, the articles listed are all very outdated (most recent in 2006, on the nomination of the President), which is hardly relevant for this sort of entry.

Please look at the user page I've created, edit it as you feel free and approve. I hope the copyright issue is resolved since I've send TWO emails now to permissions from an ENPA email address authorising the use of text which is currently also on the website.
