[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Madan Kaushik has been reverted.

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. An extended welcome
[edit]Hi Sumitpatelster. Welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.
Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.
If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.
Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.
I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 23:26, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
hi Ronz thank you for your guidance and support. These information are indeed very helpful. I'm now in a situation where couple of my recent article has been moved to draft space: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Ramvir_(singer) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Tom_Coleman_(fitness_model)
whatever information I could gather about them I wrote. Whatever sources I could find, I did and wrote. Now I know if I submit these article through AFC it will get rejected straight away. I need your expertise and suggestion to make it better. I am totally blank at this time. A little help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance Sumitpatelster (talk) 17:12, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- I wish I could help, but I don't have much more to say. If you want to focus on a difficult type of article, then it's going to be difficult until you learn the relevant content policies well. Editors appear concerned that you have a conflict of interest with your editing, which may make it more difficult. Sorry that I cannot help. I did some quick searches for better references, but didn't find any. --Ronz (talk) 04:07, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
Tom Coleman (fitness model) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Tom Coleman (fitness model), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Editing with a possible conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Sumitpatelster. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.--SamHolt6 (talk) 18:18, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
I understand your concern and doubt about me getting paid for the article I submitted, but to be honest i am not getting paid. I am from India and all the article I submitted about Indian singers because they are good but there was no Wikipedia about them. One of the article I submitted is about an pro bodybuilder, I got impressed by his physique. I've been preparing and collecting sources about them from months. I have more article with me which I have not posted yet and these are all my work and i can assure you that I am not directly or indirectly connected with them. Everybody has to start from somewhere, so this is my start. I am not sure why it looks like paid to you, but I appreciate your efforts to make Wikipedia better. Let me know if I can give you any proof or anything that will prove that i'm not directly or indirectly connected or if i'm getting paid or not from them. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Nina Bal
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Nina Bal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- Deepfriedokra 14:07, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
