Welcome! (We can't say that loudly enough!)

Hello, Sumba, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might find helpful:

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 14:45, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked From Reverting Edits

[edit]

You left a message on my talk page saying that Raul654 is abusing his adminstrative powers by blocking you from reverting his edits. Here's what you can do to hopefully resolve your conflict:

Leave a message on the article's talk page, explaining your position. Because it's a very controversial article, your edits might accidentally be violating WP:NPOV.

Leave a message on Raul654's talk page, explaining your position.

If these two courses of action fail, and you are confident that your edits were POV, and Raul654 does not restore your reversion privileges, you may leave a message at the Adminstrators Noticeboard. This is a pretty big course of action, and should only be used if you are certain that Raul654 is abusing his adminstrator powers. Luksuh 16:42, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your RFA's

[edit]

Hi Sumba,

During routine housekeeping, i ran across your Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Sumba and Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/SUMBA. I deleted them because they weren't created correctly, and it would be much easier in the future for you to recreate them, rather than try to fix them.

I should tell you that usually people don't succeed at RFA unless they have a few thousand productive edits, and several months participation. I suggest you review some recent RFA's to get an idea of what is expected. Thanks much for trying to help out, and I hope you still enjoy helping out in other ways! let me know if you need help with anything on my talk page. --barneca (talk) 15:30, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
