If you again revert to the copyright-violating use of images at articles like Amerie, you will be blocked from editing. You should also note that your insistence on non-standar formatting that goes against the MoS and the relevant WikiProjects is disruptive, and might also earn you a bolock. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 16:55, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Zero-g roll.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Zero-g roll.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Ice Hockey, you will be blocked from editing. Please do not vandalize Ice Hockey or any other article again. Arknascar44 ¡Hablar Conmigo! 13:35, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

- On second thought, I guess this doesn't really warrant a vandalism warning. Many articles don't follow the template, so when people see a lot of articles with a certain format, they mistakenly think it's the standard. Spellcast 18:09, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Please look at the label fields under Template:Infobox musical artist. Parenthetical dates for labels should be removed and left for the main article. And don't forget to sign your comments with ~~~~. Thanks and happy editing. Spellcast 17:07, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
On another note, is there a reason trivia sections keep being removed from Shockwave (Drayton Manor Theme Park) as shown here and here? Trivia is meant to be integrated into the main article. Spellcast 17:19, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Severn Sound New Logo.PNG
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Severn Sound New Logo.PNG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 19:57, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:51US--EO-oL SS500 .jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:51US--EO-oL SS500 .jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:39, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:M 7046be9b1dea1ddbadacc78ca4b14a78.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:M 7046be9b1dea1ddbadacc78ca4b14a78.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:4musiclogo.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:4musiclogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. License tagging for File:Tidal Wave.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Tidal Wave.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help.
