Pop punk article
[edit]If you can find sources to back up the content you added to pop punk, feel free to re-add some of that content (with the references). You can't add stuff like "A lot of people involved in the underground pop-punk scene rejected the commercialisation of their music and their culture, seeing it as contrary to the D.I.Y. nature of punk rock" without backing it up. And you definitely can't re-add stuff like:
Like it's mainstream counterpart, underground pop punk has continued to flourish, with countless bands and record labels emerging every year all over the world. To list them would probably serve little purpose. Get involved. Start a band. Write a 'zine. Put on a show. Become part of the community rather than just reading about it on Wikipedia.
That's not even close to being encyclopedic.Spylab (talk) 23:40, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
