Demolition Man (film)
[edit]I invite you to use the talkpage to discuss this issue. I have further, in the interest of all editors involved, placed a {{Content}} tag just before the section you have disputed as unneeded. I disagree.
As I've stated before, admittedly to tersely, the item in question seems to be of doubious nature. As such, owning an early copy of the movie I played it. The name (Scott Peterson) does appear, but has less than a few seconds of screen time. Therefore, only person(s) with VCR or DVR or other forms of video playback, may be able to see and re-verify this item of trivia.
Continuing, as such, sufficient material is made available so that persons may be able to find the relative place of the "screen shot". Giving a time mark is not accurate, as different systems use different temporal methods. A longer description will be "unneeded", as you assert is such now.
If you have a suggestion, or other means by which the trivia may be easily identified by a casual viewer of the movie, I am open to such ideas and am ready to research and make available such information. Until then I ask that the section, as such, remain - including a tag to make your concerns apparent.

Quite apparent is our differnce of opinion. I invite you, again, to use the talkpage to discuss this issue. I also remind you that a discussion involves the exchange of ideas. As such, I have retagged the section {{Content}}. I will leave this in place until you respond. Should you decide that you would NOT like to discuss this I may suggest you try, Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal.
BTW, you did not delete the information below. The logs do not lie. Consistency would serve you well.

Demolition Man (film) Dispute
[edit]Hi. I'm interested in working with you and meatclerk to resolve the debate over the Scott Peterson trivia bit in order to focus more on improving the rest of the article to FA status. It seems to me (from what I've read) that you oppose the inclusion of the factoid. Please correct me if I am mistaken. You may leave messages here, on my talkpage (left arrow in my sig) or on the article's talk page. Have a great day! →Bobby← 20:30, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for cutting the trivia on Halo. I was not sure how to do it. You have my support on this cut. --meatclerk 22:49, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Original research and unreferenced claims
[edit]Hi, please do not add original research or unreferenced information to Tomorrow Never Dies. All information that is added must be accompanied by a reliable source. Thank you, Localzuk(talk) 16:34, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- Please stop. You are making assumptions based on what you saw - you can state that they died in the way you state but you can't draw comparison between their surnames and their deaths - unless you have a source for this. Please read WP:OR. Also, the section has too much trivia in it, it should be worked into the rest of the article per WP:TRIVIA and WP:AVTRIV. Also, do not revert war - I am opposing your additions and removals on the article, you should not simply revert - instead you should explain your reasoning on the talk page.-Localzuk(talk) 20:57, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, I've seen the film, there is a map, it's his ancestor's glasses. Now stop ruining the lead, which summarises the whole article. Glasses = map. If you have further problems, go to the talk page, because the summary is absolutely fine. Otherwise, it is incomplete. The article passed GA with the same lead. Alientraveller 11:56, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry for the intermission, but I had to say that I watched the movie and saw a scene where Optimus projects a 3-D hologram of the Earth through the glasses. The imagem was just a projection of the holographic information in the glasses. You can call this a map.
- And, am I wrong or the autobots refer to the glasses has a "map" at least once while Sam search for them in his house? wildie·wild dice·will die 12:15, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I'm putting this discussion in the the talk page of the movie. wildie·wild dice·will die 12:19, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Original research
[edit]Please don't add your own criticisms to Invaders from Mars (Doctor Who audio). Doing so violates Wikipedia's policy on original research. If you can point to a reliable source describing the errors in the script, they can be included; otherwise, we have to stick to objective fact. In this case, a reliable source might be a review in Doctor Who Magazine or SFX, or Big Finish's own behind-the-scenes book on the audio adventures (which, as I recall, addresses some of these errors). —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 18:49, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: John Arthy. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:11, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of John Arthy
[edit]A tag has been placed on John Arthy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Stu-Rat! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 408 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Simon Townley - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Stephen Shaw (musician) - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Pasadena Roof Orchestra - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Lavay Smith - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 06:51, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
The article Stephen Shaw (musician) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article has been tagged for over a year but remains unreferenced; also no evidence provided or found that the subject meets the notability guidelines for musicians.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. AllyD (talk) 21:38, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
Audio theatre an article to audio dramas
[edit]Please if you have time and you know anything to it (I have seen that you have made edits in the article area which owns relations on it) , please look on the article Audio theatre, somebody placed a erase discussion on it. after we have had a merge discussion. It would be interesting what you would say to the merge and the delete discussion. And possibly it could help to contact other people that they should help also. )-: Merry Xmas --Soenke Rahn (talk) 07:07, 22 December 2010 (U
