Everything looks great! You guys are on a great path with creating your article. I suggest adding in some material on U.S. archaeological looting. Looks really good. I think you made some good choices in the material you edited from the original article. I would suggest adding a picture of an archaeological site that has been looted vs a professional archaeological site to help strengthen your final section. I would also suggest adding a section on laws that protect against looting. Overall your tone is very neutral and you seem to cover all information equally. Looks like a great start. Hi Alex and Abby, I appreciate the work you've done so far, because this is a reasonably important article that is really bad! I think the idea to include a section on the detection of looting is a good idea, and you might look into some of the work that Sarah Parcak has done with Egyptian sites to extend some of that discussion. I also think broadening the discussion of examples of looting beyond one Syrian site and two famous stolen artifacts from the antiquarian period is a good idea. You might consider some of the discussions in "Plundering Africa's Past" by Peter Schmidt and Rod McIntosh too. The book is perhaps a bit dated now, but would enable you to cover some of that continent as well. Finally, I'd agree with Megan that a section on laws against looting and international bodies working to prevent it would be helpful here too! MP Bwana Msitu (talk) 03:50, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
