[edit]Nope, not racist at all. Nationalities go in the lead, ethnicity does not. Selena was of American nationality, so that goes in the lead. Her Mexican heritage is listed quite prominently in the article ... there's no racist conspiracy to remove mention of her being Mexican-American. In theory, the same thing goes in all articles ... I remove "African-American", "Chinese-American", "Latvian-American", etc. whenever I notice it in a lead. Your addition got removed so quickly because the article is on my watchlist, and I'm notified whenever it changes.—Kww(talk) 03:53, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
