Your draft article, Draft:2015 NFL season

[edit]

Hello, Steven a68. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "2015 NFL season".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:2015 NFL season}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 12:06, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for 2016–17 RFU Championship ‎

[edit]

On 15 May 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 2016–17 RFU Championship ‎, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Richmond F.C. returned to the professional 2016–17 RFU Championship after climbing eight tiers following administration, but chose to remain semi-professional? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/2016–17 RFU Championship ‎. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, 2016–17 RFU Championship ‎), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi Steve, Your move of 2015 New Zealand rugby league tour of Great Britain makes it an anomaly amoungst articles about rugby league tours, see Category:Rugby league tours of Great Britain. I think, for consistency, it should have remained at its original title. When carrying out the move, you should also have considered editing the templates that link to that page, and had a look at the [1] what links there. A tag has been placed on File:The first team pitch at Hazelwood.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.Sabbatino (talk) 11:24, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Discuss before making such moves. One more move and you will be reported. – Sabbatino (talk) 11:27, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
